The Rotary District 5150 Awards Committee selects club winners in 13 different catagories in 3 different classes (Large Club, Medium Club, and Small Club).  A Best Large Club, a Best Medium Club, and a Best Small Club is then chosen.

The Rotary Club of San Francisco Chinatown received the BEST SMALL CLUB award.  Criteria included clubs submitting projects in at least 9 of 13 catagories, coordinate a buddy club project, and submit an application with a 50 word description as to why their club should be considered the best small club ..... and WE won!

Our Club has and a fantastic year of many community service projects.

Fellowship is a big part of our Club.  We have a fantastic holiday party and great participation in community service projects.

One of the main focal points of many Rotary Clubs is to help our youth.

Emphasis on Health is a special catagory where our Club offered CPR classes and also installed over 80 smoke detectors to a Single Occupancy Room (SRO) building.  These are low rent buildings with 10' x 10' rooms where a single person or a family of 4 would live.  There is a community kitchen and bathrooms at the end of the hall.

Clean wate is a long term focal are of Rotary International.  Our club sponsored a couple of international projects to dig wells in Africa.
